About Prague - Transport from the Airport

There are many ways how to get from the airport to the city centre and back. Passengers can use either public transport via Prague Transport Company, CEDAZ minibus or order Prague airport transfer.

Public Transport

Prague public transportation is quite quick and reliable. Prague Transit Company charges a fare of 20 CZK for all journeys, except Airport Express. Tickets can be bought from yellow vending machines in the airport and in newspaper kiosks. Tickets for 20 CZK are transferable and can be used 75 minutes from its validation. On working days from 08pm to 05am and on Saturdays and Sundays round the clock such tickets can be used 90 minutes from validation.

Bus stops are at both Terminal North 1 and Terminal North 2. Just follow signs.

Bus routes:Use lines 100 or 119 for the quickest transport to the city centre.
line n. 100: Terminal North 1 – Terminal North 2 – ZLIČÍN (change to metro line B) – journey time 15 minutes
line n. 119: Terminal North 1 – Terminal North 2 – DEJVICKÁ (change to metro line A) – journey time 20 minutes (and only 10 minutes more to Wenceslas Square by metro line A – go to metro station MUSTEK or MUZEUM)
line Airport Express (AE): Terminal North 1 – Terminal North 2 – Holešovice Station (change to metro line C) – journey time 30 minutes (This line is used by those who continue travelling by train. Line AE timetable ties to all arrivals and departures of SC Pendolino, Eurocity and Intercity trains. A fare of 45 CZK is charged on this route.)

Bus lines 179, 225 and 254 can be used only when travelling to a locality away from the city centre.

During the night (0.30am to 5am) bus night route 510, which connects to night tram 51. When travelling towards the centre you need to change at Divoká Šárka stop.

CEDAZ Airport Transport

Shuttle minibuses designed to carry people have a regular timetable with half-hour intervals from 5:30am to 9:30pm. They run to the stop near the Square of Republic - Namesti Republiky (direction: V Celnici street – Praha Ruzyně Airport). Fare is 90 CZK – a single ticket valid for one-way journey between the two terminuses.

Prague Airport Transfers

Prague airport shuttle service offers safe, reliable and comfortable Prague airport door-to-door transfers to all hotels and apartments, anywhere in Prague, for one fixed price. Rate is only 25 euro (one-way) or 45 euro (return) up to 4 persons.

These are a private taxi service. The clients do not share the car with anyone else.

The driver waits at the arrival lounge at the airport with the sign in the name of the client.
