10 May 2007 Harvey From The Bad Seeds Comes To Prague

The Australian rock musician, composer and producer Mick Harvey performs in Lucerna Music Hall on Thursday 10 May 2007. A multiinstrumentalist (he plays guitar, bass, keyboards, drums and also sings) has been chief of the Bad Seeds, Nick Cave's band. He also formed The Birthday Party band in the early 80s.

Now he comes to Prague on his European tour, promoting his recent album Two of Diamonds. Harvey arrives with his own rock band.

Forty-eight years old musician started his solo career in mid-90s with two albums (Intoxicated Man and Pink Elephants), that were English translations of songs by French songwriter Serge Gainsbourg.

The other solo album One Man's Treasure released in 2005 contained his own original material. Same as the newest – Two of the Diamonds – released in April.

Harvey is also author or co-author of several film soundtracks including Australian Rules or Suburban Mayhem.
