Central European premier tourism industry event, tourism fair Holiday World 2007 opens its gate on Thursday 15 February in Prague Exhibition Ground in Prague 7. It starts with special programme for trade professional visitors only on Thursday, while on the other days - from Friday through Sunday it is mainly aimed at general public.

The trade fair enters into its 16th years and it has established an important event for all who wants to make travel business across the regions. It also offers lots of tours and excursions to buy for a special price.

This year's fair will be directed to Russian tours and how the incoming managers should treat them. Russians are among largest tourist nationalities who arrive to Prague. Professionals from the state agency CzechTourism will have a special lecture about their specific requirements. They spend around 3000 CZK (108 EURO), and they share the top position of the "most spending tourists" in Czech Republic with Japanese and Israelis.

The partner country of the trade fair is Turkey that is competing for Czech tourists to visit the country. Turkey is in the top 10 destinations in the world and incoming managers from Istanbul (on the picture) or Ankara and other tourist destinations are eager to attract also Czech tourist.

More than 700 exhibitors from 47 countries will have their presentations and exhibit stall in the fair. Visitors can look forward to first presentation of Montenegro after it gained its independence.

More than 30 thousand visitors were in the fair last year.
