19 Apr 2007 First Spring Critical Mass Bike Rides Through Prague Streets

Safer, healthier and more lively city of Prague is the aim of the promoters of Critical Mass bike rides through streets of central Prague. The promoters seek to to gradually reduce car traffic, supports cycling as a fully fledged means of transport and the development of additional forms of sustainable public transportation.

Prague´s regular Critical Mass bike rides depart from náměstí Jiřího z Poděbrad every third Thursday of the month at 6pm. The one that takes place this Thursday is the first after winter.

Bikers will drive through the following streets on 19 April 2007. Jiriho z Podebrad - Polska - Trebizskeho - Manesova - Italska - Seifertova - Wilsonova (direction to main train station) - Vaclavske namesti (Wenceslas Square) - Opletalova -

Bulhar - Wilsonova (direction Holesovice) - Hlavkuv most - Bubenska -

Veletrzni - Dukelskych hrdinu – Vystaviste (Prague Exhibition Ground).
