American song writer and folk singer Joan Baez will stop in Prague during her European tour. Almost fifty years of her musical career was a success after success. Her first solo album was released in 1960.

Her voice - soprano with a three-octave vocal range and a distinctively rapid vibrato – attracted many people. She has two concerts in Prague, in 1993 and in 1997. Now she returns to Prague, to Lucerna music hall, where she song the first concert. You can spend an evening with Joan Baez on 2 April 2007 from 8pm.

Her last album is Bowery Songs, a record of a New York concert, that took place just one day after US presidential elections. Baez lyrics often deals with social issues and she widely involved in social and political life of the USA with antiwar and environmentalist stances.
