22 And 23 Apr 2007 British Kosheen Have Two Concerts In Prague Roxy Club

Bristol (United Kingdom) based trip hop and drum and bass music band Kosheen comes to play two Prague concerts on Sunday and Monday. Both performance starts at 7.30pm at Prague's Roxy Music Club. The Sunday concert is totally sold, so the fans coming to Prague have the last change to buy tickets for the Monday concert.

The band scored first great success in 2001 with single Hide U. They were quite rare in the dance music with acoustic instruments. The first long played album Resist was released the same year and it topped many European charts.

They have been nominated to Brit Award with their second album Kokopelli. On the third album released last month, Damage, they mixed the previous, own more dancing and the second that included more guitars.

Kosheen are quite frequent visitors to Prague. Support at Roxy Music Club comes from the Canadian band The Vincent Black Shadow

The name of the band comes from the combination of two Japanese words: old (古, romanized transliteration ko) and new (新, shin).
