Second World Championship in "table game", discovered by general public only recently, sudoku takes place in Prague from 28 March to 1 April 2007. The 2007 World Sudoku Championship is held under the auspices of the president of the Czech Republic, Václav Klaus.

More than 60 competitors from 13 countries arrive to Prague to participate the event. At the moment the national rounds, in which the countries are choosing their representatnts takes place. Czechs will be represented by 31-year-old economist, Jana Tylova. She became the top Sudoku player in the world last year in the 1st World Championship in Lucca, Italy last year.

The competition in Prague will be held in two parts. Competitors will compete in individual section with maximum six contestants, plus one non-playing captain from each country and as national teams where the results consist of the individual points of the four best individuals, plus the points from certain special team parts.
