Barmen And Diplomats To Run In Prague Marathon

Traditional Prague International Marathon comes back to Prague in September. It is not the Marathon, you run only 10 km, but it nice to run among the historical monument, isn't it?

For what we can look forward on 10th September 2006, when BAWAG Bank Grand Prix takes place?

There are two »ordinary« races:

- Adidas Women's Race 5 km, starts at 10:30 from the Old Town Square

- Metro Men's Race 10 km, starts at 12:00 from the Old Town Square

That is not all. You can enjoy fun with Hilton Barmen Race. A great show for the spectators will start at 11:15 in front of the cultural podium on the Old Town Square.

There is also a new team's race called Embassy Championship which is devoted to all employees of embassies and the Ministry of the foreign affairs. The race is held within the Metro Men's Race 10 km. The team must be built up from 3 runners and the total time of all is counted. There will be awarded 3 fastest teams.

No-runners, like me:), can at least become fans of those running in the streets or visit music festival. Along the route of the race will play assorted music bands and formations for you.

5 September 2006: Last day for on-line registration, after this date registration will be possible only in person at the Marathon Expo from 6 to 9 September 2006 (Important: After the 5th September is accepted only the entry form made at the Marathon Expo)
