It is winter in Czech Republic - well, not so cold this year - but usually it is not the right time for football (soccer) on outdoor stadium. But, it is right place for indoor football, isn't it?

This weekend, Prague's Sazka Arena hosts the international Weekend of Champions (Víkend šampionů) indoor football tournament. It is the first year of this comepetition sponsored by Czech bet company Fortuna.

And, no amateurs will be on the ground. Four teams that currently sit in top positions in Czech Premier League - Sparta Praha, Slavia Praha, Slovan Liberec, Mladá Boleslav - one club with long tradition from Prague - Bohemians 1905 - and three top foreign teams with Czech coaches - Polish cup-winners Wisła Płock, Slovak champions MFK Ružomberok, and Hungarian Debrecini VSC.

Teams are divided into two groups (matches in groups are scheduled for Saturday) and according to the ranking in the group, teams will play play-off matches on Sunday (see program).

Winner of the tournament receives prize of 300,000 CZK (approx. 10,700 EUR).

Ticket can be bought directly by the entrance to the Sazka Arena (SAT: 150 CZK, SUN: 180 CZK)
