Budweiser Will Launch New Beer Brand

One of the largest Czech brewery, Budweiser (Budvar) based in Ceske Budejovice, has just finished the development of the new beer brand, the website of the brewery said. The whole project of the testing the new product started as early as August 2005. Hundreds of beer enthusiasts helped to find out the right taste of the new beer.

The brewery wants to increase sales and the new brand should be targeted at mid-price costumer segment. However, the company did not announce yet the name and the logo of the new product.

The brewery, found 111 years ago, is a world known brand. Its production tops at 1 million hectolitres a year. Half of this amount is exported into 50 countries of all continents. The brewery is also know by international disputes with the American brewery over the use of the Budweiser brand in several countries.
