Fresh Air From Moscow In Prague

Some 16 years after the Iron Curtain vanished, Rusian culture comes back to Czech capital. Without tanks and soldiers of Russian Army this time. By the way, Czech culture have been presented in Russia recently.

Russian season started in spring, with a week of concerts and comes back in the late September. Czech capital of Prague and Russian capital of Moscow now organize Day of Moscow in Prague under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Prague and Moscow City Councils.

Days of Moscow in Prague have already started by theatre plays of Russian clasics. And will continue by two concerts. On Sunday 24 September you can listen to the Concert of folk bard as a memory of Russian folk protest singer Vladimir Vysockij who died 26 years ago. Starts at 7pm in the Great Hall of Municipal Library.

On Monday 25 September, you can visit the concert of young Russian musicians - Chamber orchestra Kremlin - will show up in The Mirror Chapel of the National Library in Klementinum. Starts at 7.30pm.

And from 26 September you have a month to visit the exhibition of works and photographs of Valerij Plotnikov under the name "26 years without Vladimir Vysockij" in the city gallery prague on the Old Town Square (just under the Big Clock).
