The organizers of Prague International Marathon – Half marathon that took place in Prague's streets yesterday promised the top runners will try to beat world record in this street half marathon (slightly over 21 kms), which is 58min 35sec.

The weather during the race that started on the Charles bridge yesterday just in noon was far from ideal. Quite strong wind and low temperature made it hard work for the runners.
Almost four thousand runners made it under 3 hours. And almost 6 thousand runners – men and women – participated on the event.
Sport lovers can now look forward to Marathon weekend with full marathon and further shorter races on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 May 2007.
