Hotel Savic in Prague opens its gates

In the recent years, almost every month at least one new hotel is opened in the Prague city centre. Recent trend is quite readable: Hoteliers try to offer the best quality of hotel services and perfect location in the very centre of Prague.

Sometimes it is hard to fill both requirements. Not in the case of the newly opened four stars Hotel Savic, just a few steps from the Old Town Square. It offers both.

It offers the central location, but it is still not so noisy. There is the Cloister of Dominicans just in the neighbourhood. They could not contemplate in noisy place, aren't they? Moreover, the next building is the church of St. Giles (in Czech Jiljí) built in the 13th century, that gave the name to the street. Jilská street connects the Old Town with the New Town.

The building of the hotel itself is based on Gothic, but later redevelopments made it into Renaissance look. Part of the original ceiling dates back to 1319.

Guests find luxury (and modern) amenities in 27 fully air-conditioned rooms including LCD TV with satellite paid channels or broadband internet connection. The hotel has own restaurant "U Dominikana" offering a-la-carte Czech traditional and International cuisine.

Last but not least: Guest will be surprised by moderate introductory prices for a hotel of such quality. Room rates for the double room start at as low as 95 EUR (per room per night) – valid until 28 February 2007. But the prices are good also for the rest of the year.
