Light Exercises In Museum Kampa

The Museum Kampa offers the exhibition The Light Excercises Series by famous Spanish artist Bernardí Roig.

This exhibition will present several works by this forty-two years old artist coming from Mallorca. The show will be comprised of sculptural and video installations. The exhibition has been organized by SEACEX (State Corporartion for Spanish Cultural Action Abroad).

Museum Kampa holds and shows mainly collections of the Czech Graphic Art. In its collections, the works of the Czech artists of the 20th century, could be found. The museum is run by Meda Mládek, Czech living abroad during Communism, and was opened in autumn 2003 after the extensive reconstruction. You can found the museum in the close proximity of Charles Bridge and Kampa Island in Prague in nicely building of Sovovy Mlýny.

In the permanent exhibitions, there are, for example works of Frantisek Kupka, pioneer of abstract art, or Otto Gutfreund, leading Czech sculptor from the early 1920s.

And come on Monday: the entrace into Museum Kampa is free of charge this day.
