Medieval Mood And Gypsy Dancers On Stage

Last April's night is always about witches in Czech towns and villages. You can see burning fires on fields. It is the tradition that means incineration of witches - the winter has finally gone, and the spring takes over the reign over the nature. But it is only partly true this year. According to the latest forecasts the temperature will hardly get over 10 C during the day.

Good chance to visit some concert. In Prague, you have great opprotunity that you do not miss the mentioned tradion. You can go to Lucerna - Great Hall (located on the Wenceslas Square), where you can feel the Medieval music directly, thanks to the performation of the American group Blackmore's Night. The concert stars at 8 pm on Sunday, April 30.

Blackmore's Night is a Renaissance-inspired folk rock band led by Ritchie Blackmore (electric and acoustic guitars, former guitarist of Deep Purple) and Candice Night (lyricist and lead vocals). Debut CD released in 1997 experienced great success, mostly in Europe. This year's tour covers the central and eastern Europe. Fans will the oportunity to see the band as well in Germany during their Castle Tour: The Village Lanterne Summer 2006 in July and August.
