New Czech government after »stalemate« in parliamentary elections in June is still unclear, even the situation last week promised quick solution of it. The leaders of both largest parties, Civic Democrats and Social Democrates were not able to agree on the minority government of Civic Democrats with »non-partisan professional« supported by social democratic faction in the Parliament. Civic Democrats need the support to win.

Designate Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek accused leftist leader Jiri Paroubek, leader of the Social Democrats, of blocking the formation of such goverments after yesterday meeting. »Paroubek came with the intent not to agree,« he said. »His demands are increasing,« he added.

Talks will probably continue later today in Prague.
