Untold Stories From The Third World Can Be Seen At Prague Festival One World

The ninth annual documentary film festival One World starts today in Prague. Visitors now have a chance to see documentaries on political and social issues across the world, from China to Belarus.

One World festival, which runs in Prague cinemas from 28 February to 8 March, will show 123 films from 34 countries.

One such film, "Three Comrades," tells the story of three young men whose lives, like tens of thousands of others in Chechnya, were shattered by the war waged by Moscow on Chechen separatists in the early 1990s.

And the documentaries shortly described tackle with global issues but tell local stories. The centre of all documents is aimed at the human being and related issues such as the spread of HIV, ethnic or religion driven tensions in several countries or child and women abuse accros the world.
