Tennis team of the United States will challenge against Czech Republic on an indoor clay court in the first round of the 2007 Davis Cup.
Five matches are scheduled for the weekend of 9 to 11 February 2007 at Ostrava.
Clay is not good for Americans as they lost 2006 semifinal against Russia.
U.S. team past four rounds were played by James Blake (who is currently ranked No. 4) and Andy Roddick (No. 6) in singles, and the top-ranked doubles team of twins Bob and Mike Bryan. The Czech Republic is currently led by No. 13 Tomas Berdych and No. 19 Radek Stepanek.
